Local Incentive Grants

Local incentives support projects that create jobs, generate capital investment, and strengthen our existing tax base. Agreements are structured to protect public resources while delivering measurable economic returns.

Strategic investments in Union County-based industries over the years are one of the primary reasons why our community consistently reports one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country.

Incentive grants are recommended by Union County Economic Development staff and considered by the Union County Board of Commissioners on a case-by-case scenario. For Board agendas and minutes, visit Union County’s website.
